"Bowling and art have been most memorable in my life!
I worked and managed bowling lanes for 40 + years and still working part-time at Pla-Mor Lanes in La Crosse, WI. I’ve been enjoying hobby drawing and painting over 70 years, retiring from bowling management in the early 1990’s, which gave me a lot more painting time.

"My first art exhibit at the Pump House in La Crosse’s Regional Art Center was successful and certainly kept me “pumped” up. I have entered just a few art shows over the years.

"Landscapes, old barns and farms, still life, wildlife and flowers are my favorite subjects. I work entirely in acrylics and like the fast drying medium.

"I belong to the WRAP/WRAA (Wisconsin Regional Art Program) and have two state awards."--Bill Zierke
